How do you fix a toilet in the North-East without demolition?
A toilet in the North-East is balanced by keeping it very clean and dry, keeping the door closed and the lid down, and adding remedies chosen for that zone. Commonly suggested measures include a bowl of sea salt replaced regularly, suitable pyramids or metal strips, light colours on the walls and good ventilation. Avoid placing the pooja on a wall shared with this toilet.

How do you fix a kitchen in the wrong direction?
When the kitchen is not in the South-East, start by adjusting what you can inside it. Place the stove in the South-East part of the kitchen so the cook faces East, keep the stove and sink apart, and use colours that support the fire element such as warm yellows, oranges or light reds.
