Air is always moving. It carries sound, scent and words. That is why the North-West is traditionally associated with communication, travel, social relationships and support from friends, clients and neighbours. When this zone is balanced, conversations are believed to flow more easily and people come forward to help.

Vastu holds that a balanced North-West supports lighter, easier communication, while a cluttered or blocked North-West can make interactions feel stuck or restless. Think of it as the zone where the household's energy moves outward to the world and returns.
