Gudi Padwa: New Beginnings and Home Energy

Gudi Padwa, गुढी पाडवा, is the Marathi New Year, celebrated on the first day of the bright fortnight of the month of Chaitra, usually in March or April. It marks new beginnings, the arrival of spring and the start of the harvest cycle.
