One card, one honest question
Draw a single card from the Major Arcana. You get what the card means in plain words and a question to think about — a minute of reflection, not a prediction.
Hold one thing in mind
A situation, a decision, or simply today. Take one slow breath, then draw. The card is a prompt for your own thinking — it does not tell you what will happen.
One card from the 22 Major Arcana, upright. A full reading uses all 78 cards, a spread and a conversation — see what a tarot session covers. Tarot is for reflection and is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice.
Common questions
- Is a one-card tarot draw accurate?
- A one-card draw is not a prediction, so accuracy is the wrong measure. Its value is in the question it raises. If the card makes you look at a situation more honestly, it has done its job.
- How often should I draw a daily tarot card?
- Once a day is plenty, ideally in the morning. Drawing repeatedly until a card feels right mostly shows which answer you were hoping for. Many people note the card in a journal and look back after a month.
- What does the Death card mean?
- The Death card does not mean physical death. It marks an ending or a transition: one chapter closing so another can begin. A responsible tarot reader never predicts death or illness from any card.
- What are the Major Arcana?
- The Major Arcana are the 22 named cards of a tarot deck, from The Fool to The World. They describe large themes and turning points. The remaining 56 cards, the Minor Arcana, deal with everyday matters.
- Can tarot answer yes-or-no questions?
- Not well. Tarot handles open questions better, such as what you are not seeing in a situation or what would help you decide. It should not be used for medical, legal, pregnancy or financial decisions.
- Is this tarot tool free?
- Yes. There is no sign-up, no email and no payment, and nothing you think of or draw is sent anywhere. The card is chosen at random in your browser.
